Hiram Orlando Fairchild
Hiram Orlando Fairchild (August 14, 1845 – October 14, 1925) was a Wisconsin politician, legislator, and politician.〔http://politicalgraveyard.com/bio/fairchild.html〕
Born in Newtown, Indiana, Fairchild graduated from Wabash College and was admitted to the bar.〔http://www.landrigan.com/betaroll1869-1886.htm〕 In 1869, he moved to Oconto, Wisconsin, and then to Marinette, Wisconsin, where he helped with the creation of Marinette County, Wisconsin. Fairchild served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1883 to 1887 and was speaker of the Wisconsin Assembly from 1885 to 1887. In 1895, he moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he continued to practice law.〔http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/dictionary/index.asp?action=view&term_id=2451&search_term=fairchild〕 Fairchild died of a heart ailment in Green Bay on October 14, 1925.〔 〕〔 〕
